Day 3: MSN convos are only good when they're <2 / Saturday, April 19, 2008
MSN convos are only good when they're smaller than two. For me, that is.
You can't maintain decent conversation (and by that, detailed responses that can continue conversation instead of blocking them) without giving an in-depth personal input and for many, is what really is the gem of the night of social interactions that span the cyber-universe.
Any number larger than that and responses seem to almost invariably drop to a mere few lines before waiting for the other person's response so you can respond back with a few lines. Now that may seem to be conversation, but can you honestly remember what you talked about the following day? Of course, memory retention is almost always a blah-ed concept to talk about, but I find it important and links well with 'observation'.
