This blog is dedicated to myself, Cambridge Wong. I don't blog here often, and have neglected it for years. Nevertheless, this is the only place I have ever attempted to log my life. So as long as I can remember that I have a blog, and can bother to visit it, I will try to make an update. Thank you

Getting Picked Up... / Monday, August 10, 2009
So I was on my way home last night, and was changing trains from redfern back to Illawarra line, when I got onto the Cronulla train. After getting in, I saw the train was indeed packed (peak hour blah blah), and spied a seat near the doors (middle compartment? Do they have a name for the horizontal seats?) and sat down.

Upon sitting down, this rather pretty asian girl runs in and makes the train, and sat down next to me. At first, I didn't notice her at all, busy listening to my music and just being really bone-tired after a long day of Cityfail transport. But then she kept fidgeting around, looking this way and that, and generally, just from my peripheral vision, being extremely suss.

Then at Sydenham, she got up, rushed to the door, looked out, then sat back down. Then rushed up again, looked out, and started walking back. I stifled a laugh and just continued to listen to my music. But then when she sat down next to me, she asked me if I knew when the train would get to Hurstville.

I replied, "Oh..huh? Umm...Hurstville is 3-4 stops away. You gotta wait past Wolli, Rockdale and Kogarah before Hurstville. But don't worry, I get off at Hurstville too, so I'll just tell you when to get off..."

Then out of nowhere, we had a conversation going on somehow, with her continuously talking and me rather confused and left wondering where my sleep-time had gone. Turns out she lives in Parra, and was having dinner with her mum, who was waiting in Hurstville etc etc...

BUT...my long winded story really eventuates to this:
How often have you been on a train ride and actually struck conversation with a stranger? As in, a decent long conversation...not those two lined ones.
And for you girls, how often have you been picked up by some stranger?
And for any guys reading this, how often have you picked up some stranger?
-------------------
Mind you, I didn't get picked up, because if I did, I probably wouldn't be alive right now XD (just think: Capital rage by the gf), but I think I came awfully close to being asked my number, had I not actually mentioned that I wasn't actually single. =O

Is there something more attractive about taken guys?
Is there something more attractive about taken girls?
(I personally don't think so...)

I would also like to wish Rainbow the very best of luck during her Trials. Good luck girl! I know you can whoop ass if you try your hardest! =D =D

(In addition, good luck to Kirsty for your chem trial! Prove to me that you paid attention to me during our 1 year of tutoring T_T...I'm kinda counting on you lol)

=D
